David A. Coggin has been practicing law in Burleson, Texas for over thirty years. His roots in the Texas community and his familiarity with the legal system here are only surpassed by his many areas of practice.

•Born in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1950.

•Received a BA degree from Union College in 1972, graduating Summa Cum Laude

•Attended law school at University of Texas, graduating Order of the Coif in 1974

•Began work experience at Geary, Brice, Barron & Stahl in Dallas, and then Brice & Barron from 1974 up to 1977

•Opened his present firm and has been practicing in Burleson, Texas continuously for over 30 years

•Licensed to practice law in 1974 by the State Bar of Texas

•Member of the Johnson County Bar Association and

•Licensed to practice (home) in the federal courts for the Northern and Southern District of Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals •Has been trained and certified as a mediator

Mr. Coggin has been married to his wife Cindy since 1972. He and his wife have raised three sons who all have advanced degrees and are now on their own. The move to Burleson allowed David to have the family life he had always wished to have. Mr. Coggin has been active in his local church, Lions Club, Rotary Club, and has served as chairman of the Burleson Adventist School for over fifteen years.
